Ever since HTML5 imposition, I can't watch most movies - tried 9-10 times with this one. When it would finally play, there was no sound.Am considering canceling, it's just so frustrating to have a great toy break on purpose.

The movie is fiction, the bible is fiction- just enjoy it for its entertainment value.

Interesting, made Moses to be less "biblical", showing he had doubts about himself. But , I must admit , I still LOVE the Heston:s version BEST!

You can use an online bible to read it, best to use a king james version or NIV.

Entertaining, but not true. Real story starts in 1st book of bible (Genesis chpt 15). God makes covenant w/Abraham concerning the promise land, tells him his people will be slaves in a foreign land for 400 yrs. You can follow the bloodline from there or pick it back up in the 2nd book called Exodus where you read about the birth of Moses

lol Adeba! They took the actual events discribed in the text, and filmed it. If it is unbelieveable, so be it. I think everyone that gets mad are Christians are annoyed that the 'God' avatar was a knockoff of young Anikin Skywalker. Use the force, Moses! sheesh.

Jaysus what a mess. Even with a high name cast this production is terrible. I guess if you have a lot of horses, carts, sword play, undermining of leaders and families then an epic movie is supposed to happen. Oh for the days of Heston, Tony CurtisLaughton and don't forget Claudette Colbert. Cecile B. Demille where are you.

I thought it was great. Take it up with the 'guy' who wrote the original if you find the story too unbelieveable.
