Adeba, I've binged this show all day, from 1 thru 7 and I agree with you about a couple of things. This really could be a comedy, at least in some spots. I'm not certain how many Doc's would put themselves in the dangerous places John does in order to save a life. But hey it is a tv show right? The nurse is really the kool one in my estimation. She is tough yet gets stuff done without all the garbage.

Search and watch The Interrupters. A SO not boring documentary about approaching gang violence with a disease model.This show is a perverse and dishonest take on violence as an infection.Love the lead, but this deserves to fail in every sense.

Mak- I read a review that did a good job of describing an appealing hot mess mashup of genres. Starting 1.3 now. He's not crazy enough to balance out being kind of an arrogant asshat - confused

WOW!! This is quite a show. Maybe not for everybody and it takes about 1/2 the first epi to get started and then it is off to the races. This doesn't seem to be your usual series. But I'm only at 3 so not certain where we are going yet.
