Atrocities were committed by both sides.Infact, the word lynching comes from a captain Lynch who murdered soldiers and loyalists when they had surrendered.Loyalists and people who were neutral had to flea to Canada after the war due to their systematic rape and murder. This is conveniently omitted from American history books.Biased programme, thus can"t be taken seriously.
