the performances here are a treat, accents so good y get lost if they speak quickly, and the use of current music works instead of feeling gimmicky. The language echoes earlier stages of our own, but it's the pacing and rhythm of speech -animated conversation mixed with slow, conscious oratory, or slow, formal declarations - that give the show the sound of another time.
