Whole thing was shot with available light, which means everything taking place in the film at a certain time of day had to filmed at that same time of day. DiCaprio says they would rehearse all day, and then have an hour and a half to shoot.

Good casting. Good acting. Basic revenge plot. Had a bit of trouble with the suspense of disbelief though. Apparently this took place in a time before hypothermia was invented. . . and when tiny fires lasted all night out in the open. Stole from Star Wars too.

It spent to much time on him recovering.This is just for me it was not what I expected.Leonardo was great as always story line could been better FOR ME.

Astounding film - brutal yet beautiful and primal. Explores the need for revenge in great depth. Best ever performance from Di Caprio. It's incredible visually and I bet it picks up all the awards. (note to self - don't go wandering about in the forests of Canada alone..)
