In the near future, crime is patrolled by a mechanized police force. When one police droid, Chappie, is stolen and given new programming, he becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself.
I liked it but I wish they had spent more time on Slumdog and less on Vanilla Ice. Sometimes it feels like Grand Theft Auto in Johannesburg.

I loved it. Yes, its kinda silly, but it works. More heart than transformers, more charm than No. 5, more to say than Wall-E. Nice visual mix of Mad Max and Kindergarten for the sets, too.
