BUT worth it all to see Fassbinder look like,talk, walk and stand *precisely* as O'Toole did for Lawrence.

i'm with Wezz in terms of disappointment - sloppy job of story telling.Mostly tho i'm getting tired of creationist science fiction. It's redundant.

How can make up for the old man be so bad? (Jack Ass had better!) How could a world wide search for the best Dr's in their fields turn up a Mohawk wearing, shouty, aggressive unstable idiot as part of the crew? ... and on and on it went, ridicules decisions and leaps in logic that really did spoil the movie.Director, Ridley Scott and the sreen/script writers made so many holes in logic with this movie I found it hopelessly disappointing. 2 stars out of 5

There are so many strings left hanging, this has got to be the first of a series. If not, then what's the point?Too many unanswered questions, although, ( spoiler alert!!), I think we may have found the origen of Ripley's Aliens. Lots of good action, although it makes me want to kill off EVERYBODY, and just start over.
