The Warrens (Ed and Lorraine) have got to be amongst the bravest people on earth to have actually committed their lives to investigating the supernatural and helping people out who were deeply disturbed by real or imaginary phenomena which could not be explained at the time. Personally I don't actually believe in demons or ghosts etc. but Warrens were definitely not charlatans and had a genuine desire to help people.

It was not scary till 52:00. But from then i thought: WTF. Scared the * out of me. Real creepy movie. Against this Paranormal Activity is a walk in the park.

Effective horror story. Well directed and acted and genuinely creepy. Low on gore but high on scares.
