Good action movie that includes good development of the characters. Enough science fiction and special effects to set the plot. However, most of it involves the struggle of the humanoid alien castaway having to "make do" with very little technology that survives the crash and getting the acceptance and cooperation of the local Vikings to combat the "Moorwen" that was also on the ship and caused the crash.
Honestly, one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Definitely better than most "Hollywood" a-list movies. A definite must watch if you like aliens, vikings, and violence.
not impressed but better than any reality * on the TV.and I'm just so sick and tired of hollywood making the sound effects so loud the volume needs to be turned up for speaking parts and down whenever somebody gets punched...it's just too much.
This movie was kind of "eh." Not bad, but if there was nothing else to watch, this would be ok. And, as an added bonus, like "Where's Waldo," Ron Pearlman pops up in some of the weirdest movies.
