Loved the books, and the original movie made years ago. All the actors EXCEPT the female lead are characters you can invest in. The bubble head playing the lead is an embarrassment. Sounds like she is in a high school play! No real depth to her, she just recites the !ines. Like a " valley girl" who got the part via the "casting couch"! Watched several episodes hoping to see some improvement. Fail!
