This is what happens when you have a somewhat ok little story and then the producer says, "Nope. Gotta reshoot the ending." but he doesn't want to pay the writer so he makes it up himself and now it becomes a terrible, pointless movie. Also, the only resemblance to the King story is they both have Grammas. That's it. ugh.
If you really want to watch this movie my advice is to start the movie and fast forward to the end. That way you can save valuable movie time for something good.
