ftr - i think the ending was perfect. So far this show has been about how to resist tyranny - a philosophical debate illustrated with people torn between personal consequence and the greater good. Katie was the right final picture for this season.

mmm. seasons are written with the final episode in mind - so this is the cliffhanger they chose for us long ago.This may indicate a much longer story arc envisioned for the series as a whole. But the pacing should have prepared us for a longer haul, and the writing should have been sharp enough to make this tantalizing rather than annoying.
