Gstruck, maybe u have the wrong King Henry in mind. I believe they r referring to King Henry II. Try researching that and see if ur European history is correct. If ur only interested n tv shows trying watching Mysteries at the Castle on the travel channel, season 2 episode 1. Gstruck is correct and I share the enjoyment of period pieces like the Tudors.I got the CW aspect immediately and it's historically incorrect to the point it's pure fantasy.If you enjoy romance novels and/or romantic fantasy, you'll enjoy this show. A lot of cool set designs and costumes, the actors are typically CW attractive. If you like CW type shows, you'll like this a lot, if you hate CW type shows, run.

glad to see season 2 came out! great show to watch and very addicting. period pieces aren't for everyone but they are for me. i hope this stays on for a very long time.

Unless you're twelve to seventeen year old girl with no concept of European history, this show will be utterly unwatchable. I had never heard of it before and am a huge fan of period pieces like The Tudors etc... so i decided to check it out. Within fifteen minutes the main character and her ladies in waiting started dancing to some Colby Callais sounding drivel and then i noticed the CW logo and realized that this was intended for twelve to seventeen year old girls with no sense of history.
